Clomid Profile

Clomid and Nolvadex are one of the two major SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulators), which are used to promote testosterone recovery after anabolic steroid cycle.
To understand how clomid helps this process, let's look at how natural testosterone production is regulated.
Testosterone production is regulated by a feedback loop that senses not only testosterone or other androgen levels, but also estrogen levels. This feedback loop includes the hypothalamus, pituitary, and testes (commonly referred to as HPTA, or hypothalamic pituitary testicular axis)
When the hypothalamus senses low estrogen levels but not high androgen levels, it is stimulated to produce more LHRH to signal the pituitary gland, which means LH releasing hormone. On receiving this signal, the pituitary gland produces more LH (luteinizing hormone), which in turn signals the testes to produce more testosterone.
In the anabolic cycle of steroids, high levels of androgen completely stop the process. If it's just a relatively short period, such as eight weeks, it's not a real problem. However, over a long period of time, the testes may atrophy. This can be avoided by using hCG. However, it cannot be avoided that the response of hypothalamus and pituitary not only depends on the hormone level they feel at a certain time, but also their response is affected by recent exposure. When exposed to anabolic steroids for a long time, even if the use of anabolic steroids is stopped, the reactivity is usually poor.
Clomid, like Nolvadex, works by occupying the binding sites of estrogen receptors in cells without activating the receptors. This reduces the extent to which estradiol activates these receptors. In the case of the hypothalamus, this leads the hypothalamus to "draw" the conclusion that estrogen levels are low. If androgen levels do not rise, just as they should not after the anabolic steroid cycle, the hypothalamus is stimulated to produce LHRH. This will help improve luteinizing hormone and restart production of natural testosterone.
The dosage of clomid is usually 50 mg / day. However, it is worth noting that clomiphene has a long half-life. Related to this, when taking one dose a day, the body not only contains the dose, but also accumulates a dose equivalent to the previous dose for 5 days. It's good: it produces the right blood levels. The problem is the first use. If you just take 50 mg / day from the beginning, there won't be such accumulation, and the content will be very low.
For this reason, take 300 mg on the first day, take 100 mg in three times, or take 50 mg six doses. This will immediately reach the level they should be. A dose of 50 mg / day will maintain this level.
After day 1, doses above 50 mg are not required and are not recommended. They do not improve results, but may increase side effects.
Side effects of clomid include increased emotional or visual impairment. In case of visual impairment, clomipide should be stopped immediately.
Clomid rarely causes libido problems, which may be the problem with Nolvadex. For this reason, some people prefer it to Nolvadex. Others, who don't have problems with novadex, may prefer this drug. These two methods can effectively restore the natural secretion of testosterone. I have a slightly better view of the effectiveness of clomid, but if one doesn't like the emotional effects of clomid, or prefers Nolvadex for any reason, Nolvadex is a perfectly acceptable alternative.
Clomid differs from Nolvadex in that SERMs are usually anti estrogen in some tissues and estrogen in others. Fortunately, clomid and Nolvadex are both anti estrogen in the hypothalamus, which makes them very useful in post cycle therapy (PCT) and have anti estrogen effects in breast tissue, so they can be used as anti gynecologic drugs. However, clomid is an estrogen in the pituitary gland, and in some cases can even increase the value of PCT. It may produce estrogen on at least some of the other neurons in the brain, leading to increased mood. Clomipide and novad have no other adverse estrogenic effects on body fat and muscle, or any observed physical properties, but are useful anti estrogen agents.
After the androgen level dropped to normal level, PCT was treated with chloramine until the natural testosterone level was completely restored.
To be correct, clomid is a brand name: clomiphene citrate products are usually used, but they are often referred to as clomid. Clomiphene citrate is a widely available drug, and even more widely as a research chemical, often oral in liquid form.
