Exemestane is an aromatase inhibitor. Its structure and function are similar to formestane, but its effect is much stronger. Aromatase inhibitors are usually used to isolate aromatase and prevent the production of estrogen. Bodybuilders who use aromatic steroids often use them to suppress the side effects of estrogen. These side effects include breast development, increased fat, and water storage. Sometimes aromatase inhibitors can also be used to reduce fat and improve muscle resolution. Exemestane is one of the most powerful aromatase inhibitors available. The most recognized clinical trials in women have shown that exemestane has an anti estrogen effect of 85%.

Exemestane history
Exemestane was first manufactured by Pharmacia company. It was approved by FDA in 1999 and sold legally under the trade name Aromasin. Although the drug works by taking 2.5 milligrams a day, the company has produced a powerful version of 25 milligrams per tablet. Because of the company's monopoly on exemestane market, Aromasin has become the only trade name of exemestane.

Functional characteristics of exemestane
Exemestane is an irreversible steroid aromatase inhibitor.

Exemestane side effects
The common side effects of aromatase inhibitors are fever, joint pain, weakness, mood swings, depression, elevated blood pressure, edema in the arms and thighs, and headache. When used as an antiestrogen in steroid cycle, aromatase inhibitors increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, because the inhibited estrogen has a protective effect on the cardiovascular system.
The research showed that the inhibition efficiency of aromatase inhibitor on HDL cholesterol increased significantly when it was mixed with testosterone heptanate te. But drugs such as tamoxifen Nolvadex, which are selective estrogen modulators, do not have a negative effect on cholesterol levels, and are often the first choice of anti estrogen drugs for bodybuilders.

Use of exemestane
When steroid users use exemestane as an antiestrogen drug the usual dose is 12.5 to 25 mg / day. Sometimes taking 12.5mg every other day will have a better effect.

Acquisition of exemestane
Because the FDA allows exemestane to be sold legally, there is a large amount of circulation in the market, and the common commodity name is Aromasin of Pharmacia company. Or aromex for alpha Pharma, which is probably the most accessible drug.
